The time for games was up. Muraki could think of nothing else to do to make Hisoka dance at the end of the chains still linking them together. He'd admitted the game and now came action. With the boy being amazingly, stupidly, not using Tsuzuki to his full potential as the stronger partner, Muraki would have no trouble grabbing him to lure Tsuzuki.

That was the real goal, of course. He was always the real goal. Hisoka would always be nothing more than a pawn while other links were forged and others became chained for his purposes as well.

He reached in his pocket to be certain the wire formed with Integra's hair was indeed there. The infirmary could function without him today, since they still had a substitute in while Muraki coped with his shoulder injury. Touching the length of it made him smile darkly.

Muraki knew Hisoka's fondness for learning things and recalled their first meeting here. The media center was his goal and it was there that he found the boy apparently frozen in his tracks. Moving as quietly as a ghost, he stepped in behind him, touched Hisoka's left shoulder, and gave it a gentle squeeze.
