Hisoka quite firmly told himself he didn't visibly startle when he was buzzed in, but he suppressed it for the most part. It irritated him in a way he couldn't quite describe that he couldn't shake off his distaste of this place. At least there was a little more familiarity inside, Watari's apparent efforts at making himself at home gave it touches of a place that wasn't some bizarre probable death trap floating in space.
"I do," he replied with a certain wry honesty. As 003 fluttered over to him, he reached up to carefully wrap his hands around the bird and hold her instead. Fingers softly stroking the owl's feathers with an idle fondness, he walked the rest of the way in. He saw the notes the other man shuffled, though they meant less than nothing to him. The sort of things that Watari worked on were so far beyond him that he couldn't even grasp the fundamentals, though he was unsurprised to see him wrapped up in some project or another.
"I was already out, and since we haven't kept in contact..." he trailed off with a shrug as if that explained his presence entirely. Though he'd gotten better about it by degrees, expressing himself wasn't exactly what he did best.
