SUMMARY: Carmen gets whisked away by the scientists for their usual initiation stuff, and then gets kicked back out into the happy space colony.
LOCATION: The hallways
That wasn't pleasant.
Carmen had that thought as she stumbled into the hallway, feeling dizzy, rubbing the pained spot on her neck with a hand. She couldn't remember what all was said and done to her, and next thing she knew, they had returned the device to her, telling her her room and ID number were on it. But she couldn't focus; she was dizzy.
Neither of those things Carmen liked. Not one iota.
Gritting her teeth, she balanced herself with one hand against the wall, knowing she probably looked drunk as she stumbled, even though that wasn't the case at all. "Dammit," she whispered to herself, blinking furiously. She had to get out of here, or lay down, or something... She couldn't stay standing.
