Elle froze up as she felt his arms suddenly around her. That was definitely different from boredom but was by no means a welcome gesture. Elle was not good with affection, especially when it came from creepy strangers. Or anyone, really. Considering that the last person who had really shown her affection ended up killing her, well...could you blame her? It's not like her dad had been the type to be warm and huggy. She had been taught to be cold and on guard at all times. A good agent. And good agents didn't take to be hugging randomly well. At all.

She frowned, grabbing his arms as she charged up, sending a blast of her electricity through his body. "Now it really smells like ozone, doesn't it?" She asked with a proud smirk on her lips as she took a step away from him now. He was daring, grabbing her just like that, she had to admit that much. Maybe he could be some fun. It all depended on what he did next, really.

"How was I to know you were a friend?" She asked with a smug smirk spreading across her lips. The burns on his arms were satisifying to see, to say the very least.

"After all, I was always taught to attack first and ask questions later in a situation. For all I knew you were a serial killer trying to kill me" Been there, done that "Or a rapist. A girl has to be able to take care of herself. They're alot of sickos in the world."

Elle frowned a little at that. She had only been with one serial killer...and well, that had turned out badly. Very badly. Dead badly. She wasn't about to make that mistake twice. She rather liked living, thank you very much.

"No, can't say it is. I prefer being the one inflicting pain." She admitted with a smug grin, covering over the frown that had graced her lips for a second there.

This man certainly seemed...interesting, to say the very least.

"Yeah, but he wasn't the most reliable of sources," She shrugged her shoulders. Sylar could have just been trying to scare her, or mess with her. But then again, she had heard it from a few other people, she just didn't care. She had never been one to hide her powers before, why would she start now?

"Besides," She opened up her palms, letting them both flare up with lightening. "You think I'd let them catch me?"

Elle wasn't one to go down easily. Well...except for on that beach. But she had been caught off guard. Emotionally surprised. A mistake she wouldn't be making again anytime soon.

"I've been a lab rat too." Not that she could remember it, but Bennet had been more than happy to fill her in on it. How her dad had tested her abilities, turned her into this twisted thing. She still didn't know what to think about all that, and tried her best not to focus on it.

"I suppose I'd be screwed if they hosed me," She shrugged her shoulders a little. "But life is too short to worry about what might happen. I'd much rather have fun with the time I have." Especially since it was borrowed, what with her having died back at home and all.

She shook her head a little. "I don't really want to, but I'm bored, so I'll do it anyways."

"I don't know," She mused as they walked along. She knew the infirmary better than she would have liked, considering how much time she had spent in there. But it had been worth it to kill Sylar a few times in the process.

"Maybe I like being the mysterious little lightening bolt."

"We're not faking an engagement. Claire and I love one another." So not true. But, she liked sharing a room with someone she actually knew. She wasn't giving that up so easily. The Daddy issues comment made her raise a brow slightly, but it could just be a lucky guess. Alot of girls had them, after all.

"The name's Elle. Elle Bishop. And you would be?"

"No pornos here. Sorry to disappoint."

She laughed a little before continuing.

"And I've been called an Angel before, but that doesn't make me one either." She smirked. They were getting closer to the infirmary now. At least he was interesting enough to pass the time with. That was more than could be said for alot of people.
