SUMMARY: The roommates catch up.

When Eddie first got here and been told what the story was, he hadn't really expected to find anyone he knew. After all, really, what were the odds? He still retained--more or less--his intellect, the rational and scientific way of thinking that had been ingrained by science classes, ESU, and his lab internship. He didn't have to be sane, necessarily, to still be smart.
Not that he wasn't sane. If anything, Eddie felt he was thinking more clearly than ever. He always felt like this...so complete, when he was one with the symbiote. The one he loved. Even through a mind clouded with hate, he could know all that.
Peter wasn't here. Too bad, Eddie felt almost disappointed. He couldn't ruin his life, bit by bit, like he had wanted to. So badly. But Peter's life was effectively ruined now, wasn't it? And Eddie could get something of a fresh start. Without Peter. Oh yes. It was only him now.
But Osborn was here. Peter's friend. The little privileged rich kid that hung out with his bro. Not that Eddie and Harry had ever been tight. But, who cared? Eddie lay back on the bed with his arms behind his head, smirking at his roommate.
"Sorry to take your room, dude."
