She was losing it. Just a little bit.
Who could blame her? Everyone she loved was dying. Anyone she knew and liked. Next would be Gabriel, Sylar, Peter, Lyle, and Angela. And she wasn't even about to touch what would happen with her mental state if Matt were to disappear.
Still, she was going to fight Deadpool.
That had to be associated with losing it just a little bit.
But it was realizing that Musashi had disappeared-- having never showed up after he said he would-- that had driven her to be such a bitch in the first place. She wasn't too eager to get a collar around her neck again, and Deadpool had been being a little bitch, too.
He deserved it.
Then again, the prospect of spending an afternoon beating the shit out of someone over and over again, same done right back, no repercussions left at all--
That was way, way too tempting.
Running down the hallway, small gun loaded with blanks in hand, she skidded to a stop in front of the broomcloset only to see him arrive at the exact same time.
The deadpan look she threw him could have murdered lesser people.
