ARE WE STUCK HERE ON OUR OWN?
DATE: Day 2, Evening

SUMMARY: The two best friends have a reunion.
LOCATION: Level Three, Garden. Possibly going somewhere else.
The garden wasn't anything like the one in his backyard, the one his Mom tended to almost every day, but it offered some piece of comfort, held some shred of familiarty. It was on the third level - the same as his cabin. The place was a lot more peaceful, soothed his racing thoughts, though most still lingered in the back of his mind. A doubt biting at the back of his heels. What was he even supposed to do now? He didn't have anyone. He wasn't alone, there were people on board and yet he felt like there weren't.
Riku and Kairi weren't here.
Donald and Goofy weren't even here to tell him they would get through and find all of their friends. He had heard opposing opinions - that they weren't here, that they would turn up, or maybe that they were here and nobody had noticed yet. He sighed and knelt down to stare at a random plant, blue eyes holding no interest in it.
Roxas was here. One known name compared to who even knew how many unfamiliar ones. He liked making friends, he did --but not at the cost of losing the ones he had known since childhood. That environment out there wasn't stable and thinking about it only made it harder to breathe. Sora felt his heart thump against his ribcage, almost too harshly and he swallowed his anxiety down with a deep breath, forcing air down.
They had promised. They couldn't be gone, they just couldn't be.
