Anju was already at the doll shop and she hid most of the creepier dolls. While she had an affinity to dolls, she knew not everyone did. Anju liked the doll shop for other reasons than the dolls. The main one is the isolation.

While the cabins would be easier, the neighbors all around the room would prove a distraction. Normally, Anju would have gone into the spookiest forest around and train her empathy there to avoid other people. However, Pluto IX lacked a place like that. The doll shop was the closest thing around.

Currently, the vampire had not seen Byakko but he tended to nap with the plushies so he could be in the pile in the backroom. Anju didn't take the time to check before she felt Hisoka outside. The girl waited to see what Hisoka would do.

Hisoka placed his hand on the doorknob and paused. He knew Anju was in the room, but there was also some faintly familiar energy that he couldn't quite grasp at the moment. It was very faint, but familiar.

He cleared his throat, choosing to ignore it for the moment as he entered the room, closing the door behind him. Glancing around, he was quite relieved to find that Anju had gone to the trouble of hiding the dolls for him. As his eyes fell upon her, he cast her a small smile.

"Thanks, Anju."

Anju nodded her head. She was setting up a small emotional barrier around the room. If the training goes the way it is supposed to, the barrier would be necessary.

"Welcome Hisoka," the girl said as she took a seat at the table. She felt a little weird not having a doll with her. They usually gave her something to focus her empathy on. "You might want to sit down and relax right now."

Hisoka nodded and moved forward to the table. He wasn't fully aware of what sort of barrier Anju had created, but could tell that she must have done something. Their emotions were the only ones he could sense as he took a seat at the table. He took in a deep breath, letting it out in a sigh to calm himself as best he could.

"Okay. So how do we start?"
