CHARACTER(S): Watari and Duo

SUMMARY: Mech building!
LOCATION: Somewhere big enough to make a small-scale prototype.
Watari got the budget and materials for this by explaining to the council that they had no idea what sort of things they might encounter in the torn apart universe. Building a mobile suit would both give him something new and interesting to do and protect the ship more than just the guns could if they came across anything hostile in the future. Compared to how big he knew they could get, starting with one 10 feet tall should be a decent scale test before rebuilding even larger.
He didn't have his lab coat on for once, and instead of the loose ribbon, his messy hair was held back with a secure ponytail in several places. Getting hair caught in any moving piece would be disasterous. Watari didn't know when Duo would be by to help out, so he wiped grease off his face and looked from his rough blueprint to the heap of metal again. Something didn't seem to match up....
