Trying and failing to write my NaNo is sort of drilling it into my head that although I enjoy the characters a lot, it was conceptualized as a comic and it really works better as one :/a Not to mention I have never been good at writing a lot. I would pick it up as a comic instead but I'm not actually good at doing comics either; I can't do backgrounds or action or basically any part of a comic ever.
Tons of people fail nano so I wouldn't mention it otherwise, and I might even keep trying, but just today it occurred to me that I could revise the challenge to be even more specific to my interests, and have a Novel Translating Month instead... 8|a Since I do have an entire batch torrent of MariMite light novels lying around on my external harddrive, which I keep meaning to go through but that many novels is kind of daunting! There's also the spinoff novel staring Yuuki which is not quite as daunting that I think I would try to do first off :|a!! CAN I PUT OUT 50K WORDS OF TRANSLATION IN THE REST OF THIS MONTH?? SHOULD I TRY. I probably will try, so why am I even asking. I guess I am just warning you that I will probably do that and crosspost it from DW and so that is why I kind of gave up on nano already. I almost just announced this on twitter but the thought was Just Slightly Too Long and Rambly. lol attention span for projects. the end.
