I'm back home...

Hello everyone,

Just a short update to let you know that I'm back home in Belgium after my month-long holiday in the U.S.A. To sum it up really briefly:
1) A month-long holiday is BLISS and I really really don't feel like working again.

2) The southwest of the U.S.A. is absolutely beautiful, magnificant, breath-taking in more ways than one and simply there are no words for the beauties of nature there. I envy you all who live there.  STUNNING and completely humbling.

3) Can I just say that (despite all political and world-wide views of recent) I love the U.S. ? It's not just the nature, it's also the diversity, the culture, the history (even if it is short in european terms), the food (my boyfriend has two thumbs up for that) - just the whole package we love it !!!

4) The trip was so overwhelmingly good that I didn't even get homesick - ok, I admit I did miss my nephew (I'm a softie aren't I) and as the days went on I missed talking about all that we saw with my sister, family and friends but I didn't really MISS anyone. I thought that was strange in a good way.

5) WE SAW A REAL BEAR - we did :) It's amazing. And no I didn't go and do anything stupid like pet the bear or anything. It is just such an unreal experience. My obsessed bear mind went exstatic. *blushes*

6) Oh and by the way *giggles* I GOT ENGAGED *shows you ring with diamond stone* He finally popped the question and chose an unbelievably romantic setting: sunrise in Death Valley in the Sand Dunes. PERFECT. And he also bought me a HUGE teddy bear (even in y obsessed-bear-terms it's huge) that was waiting for me at home. *waves bling bling again*

So yes my trip was wauw on various levels.
When I get a chance I'll update  little more and once I get the zillions pictures organised I'll send you some hopefully gorgeous pics. Look forward to hearing from you all.

*big hugs*
