All we have of each other are memories.

If I return home, I... don't wish to forget any of you. Sometimes people return to this city without memories of their times here, or their friends.

I wonder. Is it better to tell them? Or to let them make new memories?

a little sad today, contemplating, subaru, not hypothetical

...I don't want to forget either. My friends here are important.

Mine also. I wouldn't... want to make them sad by forgetting them.

I know that pretty much everyone leaves eventually, but still... I'd want to keep these memories with me when I go. Even if no one back home would believe me, or if I had to keep them secret.

Some keep them, others don't. I don't understand why that is. Do the scientists let them choose?

I wouldn't give up these memories either. Not even if I have to keep them alone.

I don't know. Maybe the scientists don't do anything about stuff like that, it just happens... I don't see why they'd chose for some people to remember and other people not to.

Maybe... they let us choose, when they send us home. But I don't know why anyone would want to forget.
