Reading 2006
Ok, so next Monday I'm off to England to see KunK for the first time! Yar! Then Wednesday until Monday is Reading festival! Yar!
While I am looking forward to this, I have three problems. I will be out of the country from 21st-28th. Here are my problems:
1. Deerhoof are playing in Ireland on the 23rd.
2. Cursive are playing in Ireland on the 24th.
3. Daft Punk are playing in Ireland on the 25th.
So, basically the only three gigs I was interested in seeing this month and I'll be away for all of them. Well, shit. I'll probably not see any of them again.
To focus on the more positive, Reading! Woo! A couple of bands there I want to check out:
Animal Collective (fuck you, PJ)
TV on the Radio
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Muse
Belle & Sebastian
Guillemots (AGAIN!!!)
Dresden Dolls
Broken Social Scene
Millencolin
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.
Hot Chip
Feeder
I probably won't get to see all of them but this is my aim at the moment. I want to fit in as many as possible to make up for this Deerhoof-Cursive-Daft Punk issue. Which is well shit.
I'm moving out in a month. Probably won't see me around very often for quite a while.
