(no subject)
I want to be as cool as Laura: I declared my major Tuesday. I'm an English major. It was kind of a surprise to me because up until the day before or so, I thought I was going to be a sociology major. And I don't know who I was kidding about social work, definitely myself. I like punctuation a lot better than I like people.
I also dropped Spanish on Tuesday. I lost most of my Spanish in the year that I wasn't taking it and I don't have time to catch up. Plus, I'm still in German, so I will just take German 3 next semester and it will be so much easier. Despite my couple weeks of hating German this year, I actually do like it better.
In general, classes kind of suck. I am sitting at a nice D in Sociology right now and I'm guessing a B- in Psych and a C in Spanish before I dropped it. German and photography are good though. Besides photography, I haven't gotten out of the 80s on my test or quiz grades. And apparently if you leave out two pages of a 4-page paper, you get a 66.
The DTH has eaten up more of my soul. So much more time there. And I just found out that I'm not allowed to say my political affiliation on Facebook, so I had to delete that. Sad. :( But the DTH is super cool and I will be waiting for it to gobble up more of my soul next semester when I move up to copy co-editor. Yum, soul.
Of course, Dollar Tree still has a tiny piece of my soul once a month. I will be retaking it at some point in the not so distant future for when I go to South Africa next fall(YAY), if not before then.
By the way, Thursday is the coolest day ever.
