I'm excited at the moment. I think I'm gonna be a lot more organized with holidays and such so I take them when I should. I get four weeks annual leave a year which is good, but I think im gonna save that for overseas holidays only. This year is Samoa for a week and a half and I'll be heading to nz hopefully early next year.
I get about one ADO a month and can save three at a time... I reckon I should use those days, take them all at once and go somewhere in Australia four times a year (maybe taking some annual leave aswell to give me 9 days) since I can only ever save three at a time
So that means hopefully I'll go on 5 trips a year (one overseas)
I've just done a lot of research on places in Australia and there are heaps! For photos I think id like to revisit the places, time moon rises and moon sets and really plan places vefore I visit them (e.g. Low tide/high tide, moon rise, sun direction). Then all I have to do is try to factor in unplanned events, such as rain, no cloud etc.
So to do it well I need a $4500 panoramic camera, used. It's a lot, I know, but I haven't felt super passionate about something in a while, so it's good.
I might just wait till my tax return and fingers crossed I get a couple of grand back to fund it. I'm also selling photography equipment I haven't used in a long while
Ah I've also got to start planning to buy a house, ensure I get a payrise, finalise my meal entertainment card, etc and I'll be good.
I'm going to Victoria in July, so I might start planning for the great ocean road, dandenongs and maybe a couple of bush huts covered in snow/snow gums as it will be winter
I know my photography probably won't come to anything, but it'll be good to work towards something I enjoy and might start taking more seriously again.
When I have 100 medium format panoramic prints I might get my bro to make a website
I like the thought of medium format photography. Every photo costs like $10 to develop so you want to make sure every photo counts... That makes you careful, makes sure you take your time, makes you patient and I hope it makes me better at what I enjoy
I think it's also time to start thinking about the gym. I have no girlfriend, can't surf, and I've got a bit if extra time each afternoon after work....
I've also just started booking massages for leg muscles. I wish the lady wouldn't talk and just give me a massage
I'll have to check rebates with private health insurance.
I've also go to buy the entertainment book so I can save money on meals and such
I'm also going to the snow in sept... So might need to save ados then
Noosa and Fraser island is in December and I should have Another three by then
Sounds good
Well... That sucks in terms of going to places I haven't been... But I guess four trips in 6 months is ok
