Spicewell's is coming to an event near me! The stock has arrived. Labels are printed.
What the heck is Spicewell's? The spices people need for period cookery. Harder to find items like Grains of Paradise, Long Pepper, Cubebs, Saunders and others. Mostly it's stuff you cannot find at your typical local grocery store when you're trying to plan a feast, A&S entry, or making Hyppocras. For the most part, we're selling whole spices, but I will have an electric grinder on hand for making Poudre Forte, and grinding down things on the spot.
And, we're stocking exotic and fine salts. Fleur de Sel, Alderwood smoked salt, Himalayan Pink, Hawaiian Black, Sel Gris and a fine salt from France's clay pools. I also have a few charming little antique porcelain salt cellars for sale.
Where are we going to be?
Right now, we're scheduled for Awakenings in Baile na Scolairi, Stone Dog Inn in Grey Gargoyles and Rites of Spring in Illiton.
