There might have been a few translations for this already, but I had to share mine :) It felt great to hear from them. Despite the sorrowful touch in their message.
Translation:
Something terrible is happening.
Right after the earthquake, we mailed confirming each others safety, and fortunately we were all safe and not hurt,
however, we were all worried about the current situation of our families, loved ones,
and those who were affected by this disaster.
There are still worries from aftershocks and other,
but let's get well prepared to take calm actions in times of need.
Electricity conservation and other... even for one second, starting from what's close to ourselves, what can we do now.
There are still people who're suffering. It's not someone else's problem.
There must be things that can change by everyones feelings.
We are all tied together. Let's become one.
And, we are praying from the bottom of our hearts for the safety of the people in the area affected by the disaster.

Praying for the safety of my friends in Japan. For the safety of a country that once welcomed me as a student and was warmer to me than any other place I've ever been. God protect this beautiful country and it's amazing people. May they get passed this soon.
