That is, crazy in the most boring sense possible. For serious. Friday, I stuck myself in school all day to work on and finish my paper. I did work on my paper but I didn't finish it. I watched a couple eps of Spaced when I came home but then it was back to work. And I worked on the paper all day yesterday. I basically finished it and saved today for all the editing. At about 8:45 p.m. today, I went to Kinko's to print and bind my paper, all ready to hand in.
Big. Fat. PHEW.
The worst part is, even though this paper was hell beyond belief to get through, I have no problem at all writing this stuff all the time when I actually work as a lawyer. Go figure.
Good things of this weekend: RAFA WON!!! He beat Verdasco in the Monte Carlo Masters final today. Sixth straight win there. Only man in the Open Era to hold six consecutive wins of a major title. Oh Rafa. You kicked so much ass and you looked so much of old that it has put that entire injury-prone year behind. Not that it sucked that much without you away, but to have you back strong on clay is beautiful.
That said, while I think he will be the favourite going in to Roland Garros, I won't be utterly devastated if he didn't win the tourney. You know, as long as he makes it into the second week rather than fall in the first weekend because of bad knees. So take it easy Rafa.
I'm seriously so happy about his win. First title in exactly a year. MADNESS. Sigh. I love clay.
Another good thing: New Who! I didn't get to watch "Victory of the Daleks" yet. I put it off until I was done with the paper and when I finally came home after printing and binding it, I was too tired and I was more in the mood to watch one of my favourite silly Tamil films, Chennai 600028. So I'll have to save Who till later.
Umm can't think of any other good things. Well I mean, it was lovely out but I was in most of the weekend. Blah. It's finally, *finally* spring and term's almost over. Freak. But yeah...apart from paper-writing and listening to electronic downtempo music all weekend and bemoaning the fact that I have to catch up on homework for my other classes -- it was all right.
Now I have to finish one last thing I completely forgot about (ARGH!!!) before I get to bed. Yay sleep!
