quick update
whew...its been...awhile!! but even though i dont update my own journal very often, i am addicted to LJ and read all of my fl posts EVERY MF'in DAY..perhaps even more than once a day ^^;;
anyway,
i am now officially olivia's personal stylist, and have been working for about a month! i've done 5 magazines (ribbon, men's non-no, bea's up!, vivi, and kera). ribbon is out now, and men's non-no is on tues, bea's up the day after, kera on the 16th, and vivi on the 23rd. i'm particularly looking forward to vivi because the outfit she was wearing was so kickass. i'm also doing her TV performances! we had a shooting for music fighter (nihon terebi - to be shown late-night on the 30th) and it was sooooo surreal to be in a tv studio with all the dressing rooms (nakashima mika! hamasaki ayumi! tho i didnt get to meet them) and cameras and lights and directors, and....*_* next monday is CDTV, then a live, then perhaps music station.... and im not just borrowing shit, she's so unique that i end up designing and making a lot of pieces... soooo busy!! but its so much fun, you guys.... ive become a small celebrity in my school and things a re looking good (but i still need to find a job before i graduate! i cant afford to live off of just liv's stuff >_<)
also, i have met some more great people... namely a producer i met over mixi who really liked my styling and has become my unofficial PR manager... he kind of shows me off like a prize or something but he's a sweet guy who doesnt *seem* crazy so its all good. plus, he produces SMAP, kimura kaela, SHINWHA etc so he must be pretty talented and respected so he's got props from me.
i still have no love life, although i DID have a close encounter with a famous person ,who shall remain unnamed, in a toilet backstage at a club. i think i was more grossed out by the fact it was a tiny little backstage toilet than the fact he was a pervy horndog...and he had the gall to ask me out later! I MAY BE YOUNG, BUT IM WORTH MORE THAN THAT, YOU *&@!*%$&%#&! also had a lot of propositions from waaay older sugar-daddy-type married men, but i dont play that game... i DO NOT need that bad karma. i totally believe in karma...the other day i saw a huge gigantuous moth by our building's elevator that looked like it was about to die so i carried it outside and put it on the soil and it died right there. i ended up feeling great all day and had lots of luck in what i needed to get done. so im not inviting any bad seeds around me!
ive got kind of a kata-omoi (crush/unrequited love) thing going on right now, but the guy is also in the entertainment industry and has a lot on his plate... i dont know where to look for nice guys anymore... its been 2 *years* people!! >_<
been talking to my homegirl zanna pretty much everyday... we met last halloween, but only started hanging out in april, and now we are pretty much inseperable... i havent had a girlfriend that i can call up and talk and laugh about the dumbest things anytime in so long. she's 7 years older than me, but it doesnt seem that way at all... i love how she doesnt treat me like a child and we can discuss about the different points in our lives on an equal level. she's also very very spriritual and easygoing, and scarily enough, reminds me of my MOM... wtf?!
im stoked for this weekend... i havent been out partying since zan-dogs bday on the 17th last month... tomorrow is a reception for STYLES, sunday is the shortshorts film festival awards ceremony, and monday is the biiiiig world cup party. im not a big soccer fan, but for other reasons, i CANNOT WAIT
just finished spending 2 hours sewing a party dress im making in purple... its inspired from an old helmut lang collection and its so kickass! i just gotta head to nippori tomorrow to find the perfect fabric for trimming... but ever since i moved to yoyogi, anything past ebisu/ikebukuro is like FAR... even tokyo station seems like its far enough to be in inaka... thats not good^^;
well, i gotta iron this baby and then go to bed to get to nippori early... i hope everyone has a nice weekend!~
