MY ASS IS SO TOTALLY GRADUMATATED!!

in a ceremony of no frills and hardly any tears (i think a few korean chicks had the waterworks flowing?) i graduated from 文化外国語専門学校 aka the bunka institute of language aka BIL and ill be damned if i ever study the effect human greed and need for destruction (which is nonchalantly pointed out as being mostly americans, BTW) will perhaps one day eliminate our chances of peaceful agreements bewtween otherwordly creatures in space. WTF? yeah, thats what i thought when i read it. well, no more! akira came along (short little chef with spiky hair who i had a crush on even tho he's taken but sometimes brings along mini-kimutaku...tho this time he was sans M-K >_<) which embarassed chalo and i to no end because the ceremony was laughable, but afterwards we went to lunch so it wasnt a waste for him. it *is* really weird to think i most likely will not see any of my classmates ever again, but we didnt any of my classmates ever again, but we didnt really bond LIKESUPATIGHTBUDZORZ or anything so....whatever, i guess?

on friday i had the WORSTJOB EVAR.... i was approached by this guy in the international relations center of bunka gakuen into doing an "english translation" job which in itself translates to "translate FROM english TO japanese in real-time for a classroom of japanese students" THAFUCK?!? are they literally *incapable* of understanding the concept of "target language"?! i told him i was not a translator, and considering i am not a native japanese speaker it would be extremely difficult to do (in other words, i tried to refuse the japanese way, failing horribly) but he assured me he'd be there so it would be ok. on the day of, as i fought through all the girls from the university in their graduation kimono, i found myself in a a large classroom with a woman and a man from london who were here to recruit students into thir shoe company. FUCKMEEEEEEEE >_< the presentation went on about market share, distribution centers, overseas production, yada yada and i was dyin up there. finally, i asked the japanese teacher to finish for me, and he translated everything PERFECTLY....so why the fuck did he ask ME to do it?!? the only part i was really good at was the Q & A session... i got 3,000yen in conbini money out of it, but man that was horrifying +_+

that night i went to an underground punk event with hiro, chalo, akira, and kris but it was really boring and i sat down most of the time trying to keep low to avoid the smoke. im all for green day, but this amateur ska punk stuff doesnt really do it for me :/ afterwards we went to our favorite 1,000yen nomihoudai place in shibuya "kazun-tei" but soon got called after by kiku to have drinks with her and her visiting boyfriend from palau on the top floor of the washington hotel(!!). it took us ages to get there as the streets or west shinjuku, which i should know like the back of my hand by now, switched places and curved opposite directions (maybe we were slightly intoxicated, ok?) but we eventually got there. the restaurant was beautiful, as supported by the prices of drinks, but kiku and her BF junior continued to order for us when our drink was gone, and then footed the bill 0_0; we had missed our train by then and junior wanted to party some more so we went to all night nomihoudai karaoke, then korean ramen for breakfast. and he WOULD NOT let us pay! is this kid royalty down in that island of his?! it sure was fun though ^^

saturday i had a drink in the COOLEST RESTAURANT called "tikitiki" in east shinjuku. its a theme restaurant done up all hawaiian, and the servers wear hawaiian clothes, theres palm trees EVERYWHERE, and they have hula dancers dancing in the middle of the restaurant! chalo and i were there to say hello to kiku who works there, along with like 5,000,000 other of our islander friends living in tokyo. its super expensive (two drinks and tortilla chips came to like 3,500yen!) but it was SO COOL and i want to go back immediately. theres one in yokohama too, for all you kanagawa-ites!

other than that, i have been reading "god( )child" by yuki kaori, and teaching a bunch of new students. i already got dumped by one, but he was a 23 year old kid who wanted to do language exchange. uh, no, this is my JOB, guy :/ but i got a cool OL who works as a hostess in roppongi two nights a week to save up money to go abroad. we are starting her with the pronounciation of the letters of the alphabet. seriously! +_+ and a kid who wants to learn english to study psychiatry, and finally a guy whose wife graduated from bunka's knitting course and sells her shit online and owns a web production company and makes music on the side and was on a compilation CD with thievery corporation!!!!! THAT IS SO FUCKING COOL! i hope he doesnt dump me T_T one more new student tonight... its all raining out though...buggers :/ (i dont know where im getting this british thing from. no british people come down on me, ok? ;_;)
