On the GOP and the RNC

Last night was such a blast; who'll be watching McCain's speech tonight?

My thoughts on Palin's speech are as follows (in bullet points)

  • she has a smirk of her own!
  • too divisive
  • too many character attacks
  • too much hate mongering
  • no substance -- where do you stand on the *issues ( Read more... )
  • politics

I think we are moderates. It's just that the right is sooooooooooooo far right that we look far left.
I think Palin did address some issues. Her stance on the environment? Drill baby, drill. Her stance on abortion rights? Right to life. (The fetus's life- not the mother's if her life is in jeopardy -then not so much the right to life).
Earmark spending? Not good if the nation catches wind of it and says "Hell no!" Then she says 'Hell no", too.

I can't watch the speech today because I have a stupid meeting at stupid work. Enjoy the speech for me! Let me know if they forget to mention that McCain was a POW. I think he was...I'm not sure.

I will have to agree with you there, Molly. I think Palin is what they used to call a reactionary. Who says there are no facists in America?
