Jeanne Kiefer, a research consultant, is conducting a survey on Austen readership, results to be presented at a breakout session during the 2008 Annual General Meeting of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) this coming October in Chicago. The session is entitled, "Anatomy of a Janeite." From Jeanne's FAQ section: "Results may also be posted to the JASNA website and/or summarized in JASNA publications. You will have the opportunity to request an e-mailed results report at the end of the survey."
