01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
It's all bloodrunner666's fault. She got niblick-iii and I into watching it and we mainlined the first three series' in a month or so. Once Cat got the ball rolling it was pretty much Reid, Morgan, Garcia, Hotch and Rossi's faults for being so awesome.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Ooh, I dunno yet, I've not been in the fandom long, although it is awesome, so I shall probably stick around for a while yet.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
So far... 'The Big Game' & 'Revelations', 'The Fisher King' (parts 1 and 2), 'Lucky' & 'Penelope', 'The Instincts' & 'Memoriam', 'To Hell' & '...And Back' & 'Nameless, Faceless', 'Bloodline', 'Zoe's Reprise, 'Omnivore', 'Conflicted', 'The Big Wheel', 'Amplification', 'Scared to Death', 'Limelight', 'Sex, Birth, Death', 'Profiler, Profiled', 'Somebody's Watching', 'The Boogeyman', 'Seven Seconds'... And basically every single episode ever, 'cause it's awesome!

Not really. I read and comment, but I haven't written anything yet. It's possible I will in future if I get a good idea.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Yes, because it's a really good show and I want to squee more about it and have people who get it, and also I want to have more people in the fandom writing Hotch/Rossi because it makes niblick-iii and me(!) happy. :D
2. Life on Mars
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I honestly can't remember what made me watch it, but I remember I wanted to see it so I got the DVDs out from the video shop and mainlined the first series in two days. Then I watched it all over again. Yeah, I really like this show!
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I come and go in this fandom, I've written maybe two pieces for it, and they were drabbles, but I enjoy reading a lot more and the fandom is really nice to be around, really lovely people, lots of crazy, but not so much batshit.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Series 1 Episodes 1, 5 & 6. Series 2 Episodes 2, 4, 5, 7 & 8.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Like I said, I've written maybe two drabbles for this fandom, and I love it to bits, but I find it hard to get the character voices right in my head.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Sure, it's not a huge fandom, and we like speculating about stuff. Plus a few more good writers couldn't hurt! :)
3. Discworld
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Ooookay... The whole story is thus - One day, little plum went to stay at her Aunt and Uncle's house where her awesomely cool older cousin lived. He was awesomely cool because he was a teenager already, he had his room painted black and he had swear words on some of the posters on his walls. Little plum thought all of this was really, really cool. He also read books, and one day he left one of his books lying around where little plum found it. It was called 'Soul Music' and had the coolest cover of any book little plum had ever seen in her whole life. Little plum knew she wanted to read this book even though she probably wouldn't be allowed to because it was far too cool for her. Several years later when little plum had grown up a bit and started going to big school she found some more books with the same sorts of covers on them in the bookshop in the town where she lived. So she bought one (called 'The Light Fantastic') and took it home and read it. She loved it so much she spent the next eight years-or-so buying every single book she could find by the same author until she'd got every single one there was. And thus the PTerry love was born.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Given that I don't think I'll ever stop loving the books I really don't think I'll ever stop loving the fandom. The people who participate are really talented and weird and I think they're all just brilliant.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Oh blimey... Soul Music and The Light Fantastic hold special places in my heart for being the first ones to get me interested in the Discworld, and then in chronological order: Wyrd Sisters, Pyramids, Men At Arms, Maskerade, Hogfather, The Last Continent, Night Watch, Going Postal, Thud!, Making Money and I haven't read Unseen Academicals yet, I've been distracted.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Yeees, I have written fic in this fandom, but no, you can't read it. It's lost to the mists of time and the horrors of the Pit of Voles. I do so love to discuss the books though, so I suppose I take part in the fandom in a small, non-writerly sense!
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
YES! I think everyone should at least try reading Pratchett. I get that it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but he's a genius with words and there are some passages that make me cry laughing every time I read them, and I've read all the books at least ten times each. Also whilst the fanbase is HUGE you hardly ever meet people who've read Pratchett to talk to and the fandom is quite small, so it'd be cool to get more people involved.
4. Supernatural
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
It is exclusively bloodrunner666's fault. She made me watch it! And I had to wait until I'd watched clear through to the 4th series before I could start reading anything except gen. ...And then it was Stoly's fault, cause her fic is so good I didn't care what pairing it was. Um...
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I dunno, I'm a fickle gal, but SPN is where the crack is, so I'll definitely keep coming back to it, even if I don't stick with it the whole time!

Not really. I read, I'm writing a few things, but I doubt I'll ever put them out there. For a start they're gen and most of the fandom is Batshit Insane for teh slash. I love reading it, but I fail at writing it in this fandom. (Unless it goes: And then they done sex. The End.)

Hell no, there are too many nutcases in it already. Including me. Naw, but it is a show that's so cracky and cheesy and awful that it comes full circle again and it's good. Give it a try, you might like it, you might not. I know people who hate it with the red-hot fiery passion of a thousand suns and I know people who love it with the same intensity.
5. Teen Titans
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I used to watch the series on toonami when I was younger and decided 'Hey, that's cool, I wonder what the proper canon is like' and thus I started reading the comics.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Me = fickle. I come and go as it is.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
A Kid's Game, Beast Boys and Girls, I don't actually own many of them, sadly as I can't afford to get them, but I have a few and I keep picking up older comics at Cons in the bargain bin, so I have a fairly weird collection.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
...I'm on Not-Scans Daily? Um, no. Not really. I fail, cos I love some of the characters to bits but I can't really get the voices right, not that that should bother me too much seeing how half the staff writers can't get the voices exactly right in comics at the moment, but...
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Yeah, sure, the only problem is there are a lot of comics and it's difficult to buy of all of them and get an idea of the canon... *sigh*
6. Doctor Who
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Sunday mornings at my Dad's house, old re-runs of Doctor Who and Blake's 7 on the telly and ten years later the new series'... I pounced on the fandom as soon as I knew it existed. Teaspoon and OG baby!
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Doctor Who has managed to stay with me a long time already. I don't think it's going away.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I cannot do that. There are waaay too many. 30 series, 756 episodes, one movie, 202 stories, 4 charity specials, 2 animated serials, 11 Doctors. Countless books, radio plays, audio adventures, spinoffs, games, toys and so much more.
Doctor Who is bigger than a very big thing and I adore it.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Yus. As per usual I'm not hugely confident about posting my stuff out there, but I occasionally do and I love talking about it and discussing theories and plots with people. The fandom is awesome, although it seems to be roughly divided into three groups: The OldSchool Fans who resent the newbies in the fandom, the NewSchool Fans who act as though the Old canon doesn't exist, and everyone else, who are a mixture of Old and New fans and like sharing ideas and suggestions with one another and are generally an affable bunch of lunatics.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Sure. I mean the fandom is MASSIVE, but if you want to find out more stuff about Doctor Who, just ask. Chances are you'll find someone who adores it and their enthusiam will get you carried away into the whole big mess of it. Also we have lots of crazy, it's always fun to spread that about with a big shovel!
Fuck me, I've been working on this for so long I've forgotten everything else! I shall do a separate post for me-stuff, since I now feel a bit more sociable. It's the fact that even though it's still dark a lot, I know the sun's coming back that helps, I think. That usually makes me feel better.
