*hugs with icon* Oh, I know how that is. Problem is, there ain't much to be done but do your best and carry on. Find better things to do, find nice people to live with next year and perhaps invest in earplugs. Lord knows I wanted to in my first year. Corridor of sixteen people, no less. All of whom enjoyed going out drinking and coming back at two in the morning a hell of a lot more than I ever did or ever will. And don't worry. You'll be able to remember the fun you had at uni. And your liver will be in a much better state. Drunk people are no fun. In fact, drunk people suck big time. Maybe someday they'll realise that but until then the sober ones of us have to suffer. Shame, but people are selfish. *sends hug again*
Unfortunately true - I will have to put up with it, but so long as I have people like you (and everyone else who's been really nice to me over the past couple of weeks!) to turn to I'm sure I'll be fine. I do actually have some earplugs. Somewhere.
Sixteen people - Ouch! I have corridor of eight (inc. me) but the flats above, below and across can (and do) get into our flat using their keys. This is the main reason that a fair amount of my food has gone from the freezer, but I will have my revenge on Adam from downstairs (I know it was him - the others would come into the kitchen, but only Adam would be cheeky/annoying/stupid enough to steal from me.) some time in the new year.
I will indeed - for example - I remember Halloween (there are pictures, but I remember it too) and I remember going to the pictures a lot, and I remember hanging out with everyone for the past two weeks. x.
*hugs you back*
*sends you yellow!happiness icon because you made me smile*
*replies simply to use my Hufflepuff Hufflepoof icon because it's yellowish and pretty* See the pretty Cedric! He smiles at you. I saw a book in Waterstones yesterday called I Lick My Cheese which I think was about flat-sharing.
I've got my brother (who doesn't use lj, and is therefore in no danger of finding this!) a book that I want! It's called 'how to worry friends and inconvenience people'.
It's made of win.
Hufflepoof icon is love btw! I met Bobberty. He was nice to us despite his hangover.
*wants to meet Bobberty* He's so pretty and lovely and posh ... and wore leather trousers to the GoF premiere ... quite flouncy, methinks? And he's only 13 days older than me. *grin*
