Hey nice people!
My sister is coming to visit me for the weekend, yay! She'll be curled up under the desk like galacticconman was last time she came to visit me. Either that, or since she's bigger and stronger than me, I'll be on the floor and she'll be in my bed. Either way, we're going Christmas shopping on Saturday, if anyone else is shopping (I was going to say do you want to come with, but I shan't because I might be buying your pressie, and I don't want anyone to see what I've got for anyone else) on Saturday, I wonder if you'd like to bump into us for lunch? I expect I will be taking my darling sib to the wonderful New York Deli, but we might go somewhere else instead. Or, if anyone likes (and has nothing better to do) maybe we could meet up later at Milgis? I want to take my sis there anyway, and if anyone fancies going to Milgis...
Anywho, Grace (for that is her name) will be coming to the Secret Santa on Friday, do you think I'd be allowed to shove a little pressie for her into the bag as well as my actual Secret Santa (I haven't seen her for a while, I like to spoil her a bit!) present? It might only be sweeties (and she might share...)
I'm also (fingers firmly crossed) planning on making Mince Pies for Friday, and possibly even some apple/pear tart things that I make, the question is - should I make apple, pear or some of each? I like apples best, but the pear ones are lovely too, although all are best eaten straight from the oven, hot (with ice cream). I'll have a think about those, possibly they're for another time. It would help to know roughly how many people want mince pies though, so that I can make more than enough, rather than less! I'll be posting this to cardiffgeekery as well, to make sure that plenty of people get the message!
