There are not enough swear words available to me to let me express my anger towards the scummy bastard who nicked my bicycle, and made me late for my first seminar.
I need to apologise to
northern_rain because I haven't finished writing the thing for her yet, because I was planning on finishing it up on Saturday when my mother and sister descended upon me. It was a lovely, if hectic visit, but rather threw off my plans for the weekend.
I have received so many little bits of paper through the post today that I feel like throwing them all out of the window, because they're all either things asking for my money, telling me I've got no money, telling me I can't have any money, or asking me to get a tv license for a tv I don't have. I've also got a note to say I need to pay an extra £1.06 for a letter that doesn't have appropriate postage. I can't be arsed. It can return to the inconsiderate, cheap sender, and get more postage put on it at that end.
If I've spoken to you in person in the lat week, you'll know that for some unknown reason I've gone slightly deaf in my right ear. Despite the fact that my ear pops quite painfully every time I blow my nose, it still sounds like everything's coming through cotton wool.
I am also painfully tired, because of my full, rich day yesterday (up at nine to chill and wait for Russell and Jon, then stroll down to Garrison for fighty fun, then off to work until midnight) I had fun, but I'm really wrecked. And I've got another seminar in an hour.
I'm off to grab food-age, and then after I get back from my seminar I'm sleeping until geek-club time.
