Aren't they fucking phenomenal? They really are beyond words. I will never forget Zach grabbing my hands and shoving his drum sticks in them while I was absolutely, completely bawling my ass off during and after Hear You Me.

Invented is so different for them, so much more "organic" and rough sounding for the most part, but I LOVE it. I'm not sure if they can do any wrong.

They were brilliant. I appreciate their music that much more now, after seeing them live and being able to sing along with them. I got choked up but I tend to be pretty self conscious at shows, so when no one around me seemed to be ~affected by the music~ I sucked it back. I'm definitely not going to be able to listen to any song they played without choking up at the memory, though. Absolutely wonderful ( ... )

I cry every time I see them. No shame. It helps that I'm usually right up front though. They've been streaming Invented on their myspace... it's definitely something that will need to grow on me, but even now, I am extremely pleased!

I got into them when Bleed American was the big single. That album is an extremely close second to Futures for me. Futures is, in my mind, their absolute best work. I love it so much. I do love Clarity, but I also don't obsess over it like a lot of people do. I hope they do GSH in Chicago because that's always so amazing to watch.

I may very well have made a flailpost over MCR! I've never been obsessed with them, but I love them enough to have seen them a couple times. We got on the barrier at one of the arena shows for TBP. It was unreal. I actually have not listened to what they just put out! I need to. No doubt we'll be seeing them when they go out again.

I think if I was closer to the front, I'd be the same haha. Almost to be able to show them LOOK AT HOW YOUR MUSIC AFFECTS ME! I'm going to trek out on Tuesday and buy a copy and hold it in my hands and smell it etc ( ... )

Being in the front for ANY show really changes it for you. It's amazing. The only thing I don't like about the idea of getting pregnant and having a kid is that I'm going to give up that complete spiritual experience of being on the barrier. Like, seeing Gaslight will be so much different when I'm not interacting with Brian and catching his smiles. The shows will still be amazing but it will lack that connection and I'm really scared about that. But in time, Andrew and I have agreed to take turns (alternate shows) standing back with the kiddo and going up front. And in even more time, with certain shows, I'll be able to share that experience with my kid... THAT is what I want.

story! boys! love! hugs! I remember when I was writing this, Futures was really the centerpiece of it. Then Chase This Light came out and I remember saying that it was perfect and it was exactly what those boys would have needed... and now, with Invented, they're grown up. It's like the band is giving me some closure for it and it's CRAZY. lol. But I still ( ... )

I've never been at the barrier, but I've been two people away while seeing The Academy Is and Sugarcult, and only one person separated me from the barrier the first time I saw Fall Out Boy (they played at my high school *_*). Now I hate being pressed up against people so I tend to avoid it, which I know is a shame. lol I have never seen a child at a show, so that will be interesting when you guys do it, unless the scene is different out there ( ... )

I'm seeing more and more little ones at shows with those adorable earmuffs for ear protection. It's so cute. Not in the pit or at the barrier, of course, but it's still great ( ... )

Well if you're in Chicago next year you are going to be extremely subjected to my ~influences~ unless you cut all ties with me completely. lmao.

YOUTUBE IT! You must hear Blue Jeans. Everyone needs to. It's so pretty.

Haha I know, I keep thinking "Well, I'll kind of know someone there, right? RIGHT?"

I like their lyrics a lot, but I'm still feeling a bit tepid about his voice. But definitely, their lyrics are very, very good.
