It really did look as if Arthur was finally making it through his rough patch. His mid-life crisis, if you please.
With his new promotion to the Ministry's Department of Silly Walks, and his new determination to lead a more sober, peaceful, and wrap-free life, I thought we were going to pull through it all.
Until last week, when -- oh! It's horrible!
He's quit his job at the Ministry in order to pursue a career in wrapping! He insisted that we could not simply live in a place called "The Ghetto" -- we have to actually live in the ghetto!
Worse still, he's released his first single -- "It's Hard Out Here for a Silly Walker!" He won't even listen to me when I tell him that a similar song won the Geoffrey this year in Salem.
I am sorry to tell you, Ginevra and disgraceful children, that it looks like your father has been completely taken over by his new persona, and even worse, his hammer pants! You can literally hear him coming for miles!
Oh!
