It's like this fic was just meant to happen.
It came about because I decided that "Apocalypse Please" was pretty much a prophetic account of the fifth season of Supernatural. ♥
AND ROCKED IT SO HARD.
Awww thank you!!! It's only going to get better from here. I promise!
(Though Bobby has me flailing with joy~)
Just wait for Chuck!!!!!

YAYYYYY HE'S NOT DEAD AND THERE WAS KISSING YAAAAYYYY!!!! A+++++
this chapter was really good, katie. i felt absolutely emotionally involved. i thought you did a really nice job portraying matt's numbness.
Sam seemed completely unphased. He was a fan of the band, but he had never really gotten that into Muse, but somehow this display seemed rather unsurprising to him. Cas tilted his head slightly to the left in curiosity. Dean simply stared, wide-eyed. “Well… That. Happened.”
EL. OH. EL. DEAN, ILU. also lol at sam for thinking this is basically totally normal. and cas, lolol, like... "oh, humans. i don't even know." xDDD
also, this chapter confirms what i had suspected all along: that kelly wolstenholme is a BAMF. 'nuff said.

So I had the scene in my head. Then I realized that everyone is there watching this... cause seriously, what else are you going to watch? So I needed some kind of reaction from Dean. Cause that's something Dean would react to.... hahaha. I feel like its the most DEAN-like thing I've written so far.

DUH!!! I loved writing that scene. When Chris gets to see her again. ♥

That was something I really wanted to get across because it felt important to bring everything down to Earth. This huge apocalyptic scenario. I needed to make it more personal and I think using Dom like that, I was able to.

I must say though, I know only a middling amount of SPN as I haven't really watched it. I got into a book series that was similar however and I know the author is a fan of the show. So her tweets usually keep me up to date.
And you know, I was betting that Castiel went back for Dom. I just knew that he'd turn up safe somehow.
This is wonderful! Really, truly wonderful!
