Weather, Friday and Euro 2012

It was raining earlier, now clouds gone grey and gale winds picking-up (nice weather for ducks and wind-farms). It’s June, clearly the mini heat-wave we had in April really was our summer.
Yesterday evening/night I was at Broadgate Circus - a nice place. High-brown businesses, professional people and classy bars. However someone has decided to erect not just one but two big screens, to people can watch football and the work looks shoddy & just screams tat. I did see few people watching from outside but as the screens were opposite the Corney and Barrow and so no doubt more people were watching from there.
Headline news today on the TV was about the England team gearing-up for tonight’s match, so I can safely assume it is yet another slow news day. While we are on the subject England will be taking on Sweden in the 2nd match of the Group Stages in it will be a great game to look forward this evening. England will have to get their act together if they want to have a chance at Qualification by wining this game.
