She woke up to an alarm that wasn't her own. The tone wasn't right. She-- didn't quite know what to make to make of it, groping out to try and shut it off as she shook off the dew of sleep and moved into something closer to wakefulness. Looking at the clock, the foreign wall beyond her, the strange-- place. She sat up in bed, and her heart began to beat rapidly. This was all wrong. And then she said the first thing that came to mind: "Megamind... This is ridiculous! What is this--" She swung out of bed, completely oblivious in her rage to whoever else might've been in it. It was time to find that villainous jerk, as ... soon as she found clothes. She wasn't going to go running around in a nightie, okay?
B: Around Town
It's completely insane. It was too good to be true - it was a slice of real Americana.
So of course, Roxanne viewed it as something like the sixth level of hell for a modern woman like herself. She was in a frumpy dress, sensible if boring shoes, and the drones were giving her short hair the side eye on occasion. But she took off with a note pad, desperately wishing for her camera, and began to work on the obvious: maps, important locations. She avoided speaking to others after encountering a couple of drones and finding they were-- less than helpful. But she wanted to know where all the important buildings were, and if there were anything else she could dig up with her nosy reporter skills, she'd find it...
