 How had i gotten so apathetic about spinning? it just sneaks in on an artist sometimes and before you know it you're just going through the motions. it's been that way for quite awhile. BUT....no more. thanks to Norway i think! I just spent a solid day spinning all the amazing native scandanavian wool that was gifted by my lillehammer students. ( ( Read more... )

I took over a corner of a gallery once with yarn. Actually twice now that I remember. Hard to photo properly, so I don't have any good documentation, but it was fun. Ladders and hooks (i crocheted a bit here and there as I strung along).

Good to see new directions for you. I get the feeling many more amazing things are going to be spurting from your brain.

I can't wait to see what you got up to with the Scandinavian wool - I believe you got some of mine by the way of Ann Arvidsson. Strange how wool travels when you start trading with other spinners. Hope you enjoy it...
