Weekly update
I have a bunch of second class stamps left over that I never used, and I saw on Russell Howard that there was a charity called Post Pals (www.postpals.co.uk) that gets you to send letters to sick kids struggling with their illnesses, and also to their siblings, so I’ve been writing a bunch of cards this week. It’s hard to do but I hope it helps.
Other than that things are plodding along ok. We got a new car which is great, just got to finalise the finance but it’s looking very doable. Getting rid of the old one will have to wait till Alan’s folks decide what they want to do about the stereo and the numberplate, but hopefully that’s in hand. It really doesn’t feel like it’s only been a week since Empire, though I’m impressed at myself getting the hand washing done for that already. My Commissar army is coming along and I’ve got it up to 1000 points now.
