Three things! (Not the copperbadge kind though)

Apr 14, 2008 20:22

So, three things before I scamper off to study for biology tomorrow. The first is my apology to
ceraby - I did not forget about re-doing the comic, I'm just having some trouble with Photoshop (NOOOO) right now since I tried to LOLVIRUSSCAN my computer. It should be fixed pretty soon, I think I know what to move where hahaha, but I don't want to hack and slash my way through it and end up breaking all my programs hahahaha. Which would be my luck.

The second thing is that Chapter 6 of Diplomatic Piracy is up here. Woo and yay! I posted this here months ago so some of you will have read it already. Chapter 7 is written, but I am adhering to my principles of staying one chapter ahead, I dunno, that kind of works for me, whatever. SO. ALL FUTURE UPDATES OF DIPLOMATIC PIRACY WILL BE POSTED TO FANFICTION.NET. I will continue to talk about it here, will maybe post drabbles or short crackfic related to it here, but actual chapters will be posted to fanfiction.net. If you fear fanfiction.net, don't worry - I will try to post something here with a link every time I add a new chapter. :) So there you go, hope you guys enjoy.

Third, GUESS WHAT I DID TODAY. Guessguessguessguess. I got to dissect stuff in bio lab! :D This is the second time dissecting anything in my whole life, the first time being last week when we did earthworms and squids. This week we did mice and our group ended up with a frog as the second animal. IT WAS SUPER COOL OMG. I have never got so nerdily excited. My whole group freaking wussed out too so I got to cut stuff open and pin the skin out of the way and pull out the organs and identify them and I cut the mouse's stomach open and the frog's heart and omg it was the coolest thing I have ever done. Our mouse was named Hermes, because I liked that name, and our frog was (what else?) Kermit. So that was pretty much the highlight of my day hahahaha I am a sick individual. I was kind of hoping we would get to do the shark but then when I saw the shark that another group sliced up I was glad we didn't, because they are greasy and smelly hahaha. Gross. And the fetal pigs were pretty sick nasty too but whatever, I was glad we had the frog mostly because the ribs were easy to hold out of the way. The fetal pig people had some trouble with that.

Anyway, I need to study muscles and circulation lol.

Countdown to Rolex: T-minus 9 days. :D
