He's losing. Again.
Akaya stares at the billiards table and frowns, grimaces. Shitty shots, all of them.
"Having trouble?" Fuji asks sweetly from the sidelines.
Akaya glares and mutters a, "Shut up," before leaning over and attempting a shot.
The angle is off (Fuji keeps doing that distracting -- thing, dammit!) and the cue ball bumps harmlessly against the siding, only barely grazing the intended target. All Akaya can do is say "Fuck," before Fuji sets up his winning shot.
"This is the second game you've lost, Kirihara-kun," Fuji murmurs lightly, taking his time aiming. "I thought you said you were good at this. Are you sure you don't want a handicap for the next one?"
"No way," Kirihara replies sullenly, looking away. "I don't need it."
"Oh?" Fuji makes the shot. A perfect sinker.
"Yeah."
In any case, it wouldn't really matter if Fuji gave him a handicap -- Kirihara always loses to him anyway.
