OH GOD LONG ENTRY WARNING WARNING WARNING
Despite my previous entry, I love traveling. Love it. New places, new people to bug, new environments to wear cat-hat in.

So I got on the standby flight! Two families didn't show up and I was the last person allowed on the plane. So my day was pretty much glorious after that. Even if I had to run around the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport like a lunatic for two hours because of an incomplete ticket transfer. Basically, since I never was supposed to get on that standby flight, my itinerary was changed so many times that nobody knew what the hell was going on anymore.
On my last flight, we had a comedian as a flight attendant. Seriously. This is about how his speech went.
"Ladies, please stow your purses underneath the seat in front of you. Men, if you have a purse please likewise stow it, we do not discriminate on this airline. If you currently have a cell phone glued to your ear, repeat after me: "Honey, I have to go, the flight attendant is making me get off."
"Please direct your attention now to the stewardess in the front of the cabin, who will now make a bunch of funny hand gestures about the airplane. In the event we have to ditch in somebody's back pool, your flotation device is located in the seat pat you're sitting on."
Seriously. By the time this guy finished, I was almost crying, I was laughing so hard. So were the other passengers.
Also he gave me another free alcoholic drink. :3 APPARENTLY CAT-HAT GETS ME DRINKS.
So I'm in Arkansas, stealing internet off the school behind us. So the dial-up nightmare never materialized. I am online, people!
In more serious news, my grandmother is... well. I don't think she's going to live much longer. But she's glad to see me.
