The Worst Journey in the World Part One

Jun 15, 2009 09:07

A bit late to the party, here is my contribution to plot_wout_porn. I'm posting it in parts one after the other, in one big lump, a poll on my LJ having determined that most people would prefer that (not that I've had any option really, as I've been away all weekend).

Title: The Worst Journey in the World

On-the-spot comments:
Love:
The trapped by the fine print description of Wesley's existence.
Wesley's unspoken desperation.
Spike biting the lead sled dog on the nose. ::giggles::
The dynamic between the three.
The visceral (anyone want to say "Eww") feeling of an unwashed Buffy.

Now, on to Part 2!

Ooh! I'm totally engrossed, impending Spuffiness aside.

Well, the Spuffiness is implicit really, so hopefully it won't be too bothersome.

Oh! So plotty! I am in awe. The mystery, the brutality of nature (and their natures), and the inevitability are making for quite the page-turner (clicker?).

Plus, Spike makes a divine Executive Officer. I would say more, but I must get to the next chapter, stat.

Plus, Spike makes a divine Executive Officer.

He does, doesn't he? Much prettier than Colonel Tigh from BSG. Glad you like it so far.

You did take this prompt! I loved the frozen sea image, and you've found a proper justification for it with the other dimension, which is great.

So Wes is evil-but-not. And Buffy's eating for two... And, best of all, if their heroics are successful, no one's going to notice a thing.

Very speedily moving on to the next parts!
