Lovely ending, though! (I was so worried that Jennifer would drop dead). It would be fun to see what would happen if one of the older slayers did come out.

Sneaky. Justified. *nods firmly* Can't see the Watchers building a prison that would hold them, honestly.

I'd quite like it if someone wrote that story, but I don't think it will be me. I did originally have more Slayers in the plan, but it all got too diffuse and timetravel expositiony. Plus someone would have had to die (because otherwise too much happiness all round), so in the end I chopped a whole section out. Glad to hear it works like this!

Hee, you've made my day - escape and rescue, combined!
I was worried for a moment that Jennifer would do the Mel Gibson/Forever Young thing and age 40 years, but it is much better like this (and let's face it, that was a pretty silly plot development in the movie *g*).
I loved the ending - because the new Council isn’t made up of fools, they have also set some wards up to warn them. I do like your Council.

Yes, you were spot on, nearly! I did think of the instant-ageing option, but it didn't seem that original or satisfying. I don't think the old Council ever planned to let girls out - it would have made a mess of the Slayer line, after all, which is only resolved because everyone's a Slayer now. Endless repercussions.
