Society beginning to gain back my trust? Is it possible?
This evening I ventured out to fuel up my car. As I turned on to 137th my vehicle decided to die.
A compassionate foreign fellow stopped and asked if I needed help. I used his cell phone to call mom and Lance. As I awaited their arrival to rescue me, about a dozen people asked if I needed assistance and 2 pulled over within about 5 minutes. I was quite stunned by the goodwill of these people. I've lost my hope in the populace over time. This evening made me take into account that not all people are as exceedingly decadent as I believed. Decent human beings aren't dead after all.
Next time I lose my faith in this earth's inhabitants...I just need to run out of gas.
