2 war films in 4 days == not good for the heart

heh! LATE post I know!

Last Sunday, went all the waaaaay to Makati just to watch Letters from Iwo Jima! Because for some strange reason, only G4 and GB3 screened the movie T_T (*poooof* went my plan of watching the movie n-number of times XD) Went with melissa,
miyawoks, and
rainie_me (Another friend Rachelle, was supposed to come too but she ditched us for law homework instead huhuhu)

I lovelovelove it! (and not just because Nino's in it) Favorite Scenes: One was when Ryo Kase's character was talking with Saigo about the young American's letter from his mom and how it could easily have been from his own. Next would be when Ken's character had the big goodbye dinner from his American general friends and a wife asked him what he would do if America and Japan goes to war and he has to 'battle' with his American friends (which I think is a pretty weird dinner topic but whatever XD) Overall, it is a great movie! And I'd have to agree that Saigo is Nino! All the witty comments and wisecracks!

Heh. Funny moment while watching:
miyawoks overheard the person sitting next to her going "yung bata! yung bata!" while referring to Nino. "Yung bata" == Little one (or young one) XD

next up, 300!

Went with people from the office (BONDING! haha!) to watch it on its first screening day! Heh. And to think I only found out about the movie when I saw the poster in G4 when we watched Letters XD Discovered that Walter-Mart Makati has a pretty decent theater - comfy seats, nice picture/sound system. What can I say about the movie? How can you not like a movie with 300 men, all sporting 8 packs (heh 8 packs XD) prancing around on the screen? Hahaha! Geekiness on, the special effects was <3 too. Plus the OST was <3 as well!

Pfft. I should learn to write decent reviews XDDD
