BULLSHIT ALERT!!!
I worked a long hard 20 minute day today. Such fun. So then Stephanie the lady in charge of the temps comes over and says "Paul, can I talk to you for a minute." Now I've heard that before and I know that it really means "I'm here to escort you from the building because you've been fired/let go/laid off." I know how this goes but i'm thinking goddamnit I'm only 20 minutes into my second day and i only worked 6 hours yesterday. What in God's name could I have done in 6hrs20mins to deserve to be fired?
Anyway it turns out that after the last time I worked there they apparently marked me as "inelligible for re-hire" Why? Nodoby seems to know. So here I sit at 7:45 in the morning, too awake to go back to sleep, waiting for the temp lady to call me and attempt to explain why I no longer have a job. What a bunch of bullshit.
