You know what? I'm sick of it. I'm sick of politicians claiming to have "walked into [interview] trap(s)."
This is the problem with politicians. Most of them don't listen to the people talking to them. Explain how this is a trap, Rep. Bachmann:
Chris Matthews asks if you think Barack Obama has anti-American views. You respond:
"Absolutely. I'm

You are clearly a terrorist or a socialist or a fake American, depending on what day of the week it is. Possibly all three, if I feel like calling you that.
On a serious note, we need to seriously educate the American public on the actual meaning of the word "socialism". (Barack Obama's clear-cut socialism is one of two major reasons for my family's uncompromising loathing of him, the other being, of course, Acorn.) Newsflash: in order to be a socialist society, the government has to have a major hand, if not full-out control, of all business. That is the definition of socialism. Now, despite the fact that we just nationalized the freaking bank system (a bi-partisan effort to clean up a bi-partisan, though skewed heavily right, failure), America does not qualify as a socialist society. This is still a country based on capitalism as far as business is concerned and Barack Obama has expressed exactly zero desire to change this.
As far as social policies are concerned, yes, we have socialist leanings, though we have fewer than any other civilized first-world country. You truly want to rid the country of all socialist policies? Ok. Then we need to get rid of social security and Medicare. We need to privatize the police and fire departments so that when your house is on fire, you need to pull out the phone book and start making calls to see which firehouse can give you the best rates. The government will have no say in any police corruption or in economic collapse. We need to pull public schools, all regulated education standards, and government college tuition assistance off the table. We need to give care of roads, bridges, airline safety, and the environment to private industry -- in all likelihood, to the lowest bidder. (I think there's actually something to be said for decentralizing a lot of energy research, but you get the drift.)
Yeah. Socialism, as it exists in America, is horrible and clearly leads us into a chaotic society.

I don't know what came over me. It must have been the influence of Stalin, no, Chairman Mao, er, I mean, Nikita Khrushchev or maybe it was Elia Kazan, wait, it was the French, no, no it was an African-American fella...uh...oh, you know, that guy...AL SHARPTON! Or maybe it was the media. Yeah, that's it! The Jewish owned media made me hate REAL American despite the fact that America is Israel's biggest ally. Totally "the media." This vague notion of an organization in which no two entities have anything in common with one another except for their line of work is completely responsible for the vast socialism of the United States.
Don't ask me to elaborate, this faceless conglomeration of shadows has eyes and ears everywhere. Also, don't ask because the idea is so flimsy that I have no idea what I'm talking about. But as long as we're blaming people in one general line of work and nothing else in common, let's blame circus folk. Every one of them. From Barnum & Bailey to Circus Vargas and especially Cirque du Soleil. How can you trust someone who is constantly spraying you in the face with a selzer bottle? And what do you call fitting 57 clowns in a Volkwagon bug? Socialism. The whole lion-taming lot should be kicked out of the country so we can declare war on them.
Yes, this vast network of socialism against real Americans expands everywhere. Look at the air we breathe. You and I are breathing the same air. Dammit, I earned that air through hard work and big dreams.
You know what we need? To privatize every business! That way we'll have more money to spend on the insanely jacked-up prices recently privatized businesses (like the police force) will be charging. And if I want to monopolize an industry and gouge every consumer for my own benefit, why can't I? Why do you hate freedom?
What happened to the good old days of the 1920s? Back before the Great Depression which clearly was a random act and had nothing to do with lax business laws?

I'm pretty sure it happened because we didn't pray hard enough.

Just before the market crashed, I believe I read a sign on a hobo saying that "the End is Nigh." Oh, had we but been a God-fearing people who believed in our shabby clothed vagrants!
