Thats my emotionally dysfunctional Lex...

God I love this chapter on so many levels. Lex trying to get a grip on his feelings, terrified that Clark has flown off leaving him. Confusion when Clark gets into bed and holds him. The fear when Clark starts to talk, scared that he is being pushed into a corner, forced to examine feelings he is too scared to contemplate. So afraid off admitting those three small words to Clark, because every time he admitted it before it left him destroyed because the person either died, left him or betrayed him. But Clark's figuring him out so he wont be able hide so easily now. And I love Clark's declaration of why Lex is not weak to him. *Hugs Clark for that.*

I love Lex's declaration of Love...he needs to work on the romantic portion of his delivery though *g*

But its a start. And I love the whole end it was just perfect.

Yes screwed up and convoluted thats Lex alright. He does lend himself to such wonderful angst and interesting possibilities. Complicated Lex is LOVE.

That was beautiful. I'm so happy Lex forced himself to say it when he saw the dying puppy look on Clark's face. Even Luthor's can't resist big eyed puppy suffering... *snickers* Well, Lex can't resist Clark-like ones. I just feel keeping smile, such a beautiful close to this chapter. Thank you
