oldies and goodies

Apparently it was make-an-elaborate-omlet friday - Lauren, Kristen Ewerthecoolest and I all, on our own, unknown to the others, at around the same time, mushed up eggs and veggies and voila.
Before we went fabric shopping, Kristen and I went to the bank to exchange my six-month collection of coins for dollahs, but "whoa you won a prize!" said the electronic money-eating-machine girl (there's no way to explain this better) - I filled up the money bag before the machine could count my 75 gazillion pennies.
The bank women wandered around aimlessly and then sprang to life, all fussing over the machine. When the bag was secure and the women had all returned to their bank lives, the girl machine goes "something doesn't feel so good, please get a bank worker to make sure the bag was replaced correctly."
I went up to the counter "Something doesn't feel so good." Kristen started snorting (cracking up).

We went to Joanne's fabric store. Lauren got a light blue cotton sheet o' fabric and ended up creating a beautiful homemade skirt, but it looked better than most things I've seen in stores. She is incredible (en-croy-ab-leh...since Montreal I think in bits of french).
I started to cut out patches of the designs I bought...sewed about fifteen of them together. Hopefully in less than a month I'll have the body pillow cover I've been imagining. I can't force myself to even mimic Lauren's intensity and focus. I have ideas and crafty passion but they often teeter out.
I just stumbled upon a mix CD from..someone? - with The Clash, The Exploited, Rancid, Nirvana, Atom and His Package...all of my middle school, early high school, I-am-an-anarchist-punk music.
Sillyness which I still love. I hope I will never be wooed by the Discreet charm of the Bourgeosie.
Alright, only in movie form.
I miss Rebecca Al(l)ison Shore.
