addon madness

(( this is a crosspost from plix.org ))

after an obscenely difficult week of exams, I finally had the time to sit down, relax, and code whatever I felt inclined to. the result: the extracted links plugin to the left. sure, it's not as useful as a hand-picked list of links, but it provides not only an interesting insight into what I tend to link to, it also provides a quick menu for me to get to whatever I was thinking about or working on at tht time. in writing the plugin, I discovered that I *had* created a way to pass environmental information to the plugin. regardless of this new development, the entire thing is still terribly broken and needs a good deal of work. this discovery allowed for a slight tweak to the calendar plugin so that now it is set to the month of the top-most post on a page when initially loaded (rather than the current month) -- this should make it a bit easier to use.
