How? Why? and Why?
I am, quite simply, speechless.
Listen up girls....go talk to your fathers. If you don't have a father, find a father figure. Now, three steps to total inspiration, via a path of rage, fury, humiliation, and depression:
1. Ask your father[figure] about his views on women. Should they have the same rights as men? Should women be expected to dress properly and be made up at all times? Do you consider women as your equals? (n.b: If your chosen subject replies in the affirmative, think yourself lucky. You may, in fact, be dead and in heaven.)
2. discuss his views. why does he think that? can he justify his opinions with a more stable argument than "I'm a man, i know best"? If not, continue to step 3. If yes, continue to debate sensibly until the conflict is difused amicably.
3. Lose your temper in a furious rage, spew forth expletives, shout, scream, curse, and express your anger at being part of a patriachal society that allows no freedom of choice, only the lure of it by the wonderful workings of our culture.
...and there you have it. Take this new found fury, and channel the energy into something positive. Do not waste it.
