Looks like RHP might be being canceled - a review of stuff needed for the qualification today revealed that I'm in the wrong position. Or at least might be. I don't know yet, and I'm not sure how I feel - I like the team, they're wonderful people and what they do is important, but yea, administration =/= customer service. And that's pretty much all I'm doing if what my line-manager told me was right. Ack!

Now I have to wait for further info/ interrogations at RHP come Thursday.

So, in other news:

Onna is shaping up really nicely. I'm having a hard time balancing aesthetics with functionality. Onna was built on a small secluded section in the hills after the destruction of Novembre, and it's where the first third of the story is set. I'm still feeling my way around the character's home-town, but I'm liking the pokey houses, the central eating place, the fences keeping things out from the cliffs above - Veldt is a dangerous place.

Now all I need to do is draw a layout-y plan of how the village is laid out so I can start blocking in sections. And let me be honest with you, this bloody place doesn't turn up for quite a while in the story because I'm still stuck on the prologue!

So Pietra and her cronies keep being redesigned, over and over again, every time i get stuck because it helps me to think. I actually really like the bug-eyed simplified design, it ties with the gangly, clothed version I have of her. I might actually use this as part of the site set up later on this week, but whatever. It's not too much like my normal style, is it?

I've begun the layouts and scritching out scenes for the first part of the story. Suddenly I need to design a whole lot more and I can't remember what I was listening to when I began this! damn!

I need to sit down and scan a whole lot more.

did i get art on your shoes, there's a dog in here somewhere, 12th key, my pikchurs r pasted on yay, plot what plot
