Fighting with Formating

More writing yesterday afternoon - words on paper for everything, though some of it needs a thorough overhaul (it either doesn't quite say what it should, or it says all the things but in a totally crazy order). J read through some of it & said it was understandable to people-who-are-not-me which is good \o/ He also pointed out I had some ( Read more... )

Does your "problem" with tenses carry over into real life - as in, do you find time to be an irrelevance?

Interesting thought, but no - I think I've a fairly solid handle on time in reality, just not in writing. Or in reading, if I'm reading quickly - if something I'm reading is doing something stylistic with tenses (like, say, one POV in a novel is in present tense & the rest are past) I'll pick it up eventually, but not immediately.

But if I stop & actually pay attention to it, either writing or reading, then I do notice :)

Oh, there were a few hundred dead zombies by the end of the evening, I just didn't mention them :D Wasn't playing at the top of my game tho, so a little frustrating coz I kept dying when I really shouldn't've ...
