January- Februaryish Update

stagedooritis (noun): inflammation of the stage door; to be obsessed with going to the stage door and getting autographs at a Broadway show.
    Ex: When we went to Spring Awakening, Liz succumbed to stagedooritis and ended up being told, "Shutup" by Blake Bashoff

• I don't think it is possible for me to have hated the book As I Lay Dying anymore. It was absolutely horrendous.
• LOST is back and better than ever!
• THE WRITER'S STRIKE IS OVER! EVERYBODY REJOICE!
• Except it was like a week late, because now effing Pushing Daisies will not be coming back until the fall. THIS SUCKS!
• Um I smell a very Seussical-caliber crappiness about the Barnum set...
• I got into SVA!
• I want to go to AU, UK and HI again!!!
• Amato and Mrs. O are betches
• Promeroo situation "Part One: Date" and "Part Two: Transportation" situations solved.
• The Little Mermaid: So I liked it. Better than Tarzan, better than Beauty and the Beast. But below Mary Poppins and The Lion King. The cast was fantastic, perfect. I was incredibly disappointed we had Trevor Braun and not Brian D'Addario for Flounder. Although really nice at the stagedoor, Brian would have been better. Most of the costumes and all the lighting were pretty cool. Heelies actually worked for me! Eric was so 1-dimensional and pretty pointless. (Plus like a robot at the stagedoor!) Ursula looked like a drag queen but was AMAZING, as expected. I think she'll get a Tony nomination. The bong things were weird. Under the Sea was so disappointing. There were a few songs that we're a waste of my life (That World Above, honestly?!) Sierra Boggess was the perfect Ariel. I think she'll get a nomination, she was PERFECT. Sets were alright, the ship was cool but other parts weren't. All in all, a very fun show: 4 out of 5
• The night itself was pretty eventful as well. Psycho lady at Grand Central, freaking jacket woman and 10 block in 13 minutes.
• We ain't going to see The Color Purple. I don't care.
• I should be studying for my AP Psych and AP Calc tests, both of which are tomorrow
• Werd Giants. Werd.

• Talk to a certain track jacket stealer about college in Australia (now a requirement!)
• Do the Hairspray, In the Heights, Wicked and Avenue Q lottos, Is He Dead? rush (again), Spring Awakening rush (again), August: Osage County rush, Xanadu rush
• Go to SMAC
• Get a job
