I found the blog of a Canadian midwife. She just had lots of interesting insights and information and about "hippy" birth stuff.

Here is a video about actual parents discussing hospital vs. home births. It was interesting cuz there was a lot of commentary from the dads, too.
Aaaand.... below the cut is a video of the birth of an elephant. Be warned, it's not for the squeamish. I definitely had a few o_O...O_O...XP moments. But it was interesting because the babby elephant wouldn't breath for 2 minutes, but the momma elephant seemed to know what needed to happen, and did it.
